Spring is a magical time at Ash End Children’s Farm, and this year we’re celebrating with an Easter Bunanza packed with hands-on animal experiences, family fun, and springtime adventures.
From Saturday 28th March through to Easter Monday, families can enjoy a full day of farmyard fun and seasonal activities.
With a crack team of elves borrowed from the North Pole, and featuring special appearances from the man in red himself we are pleased to announce the coming of Christmas on the Farm 2025.
Ticket types and prices
JUST FARM + CHRISTMAS … Fancy just the farm and Xmas event, then choose an all inclusive JUST FARM ticket which includes all the usual farm favourites (tractor trailer ride, pony sit on, animal feeding etc) plus time to travel through our Winter Wonderland grotto for one-to-one time with Santa and Mrs Claus and their reindeer. This is £21 per child and £17 per adult. Allow about 2 hours for your visit but stay longer if you wish. Each child will receive a present from Father Christmas which is a cute plush reindeer.
COMBI TICKET … extend your visit with a 2 hour play barn session. The upgrade cost is just £5 per child on top of the JUST FARM entry, so that’s £26 per child. Adults are £19.
SCHOOL DAY TICKET … this is a COMBI ticket and includes the Christmas activities and meet Santa. Everything you get at the weekend, but much quieter and cheaper, too. Limited times and availability, so please enter booking to see what’s available.

There is a 20% blue light discount (against standard Christmas prices) for all the family visiting with a Blue Light employed adult. This is available most weekend and holiday event days but please check our special Blue Light Booking Portal for more information, availability and prices … click here. Please note, not available on Christmas Eve, sorry.
Looking forward to Halloween? Why pay loads to just “pick a pumpkin” when you can have a great day out at the farm and big play barn, AND visit our spooky trail AND take a pumpkin home, all for just few pounds more than a farm visit?
Our “Spooktacular” includes entry to our special event barn as well as the chance to pick a pumpkin and carve it while at the farm. Plus all the farm activities you love!
For Halloween, the event barn is themed as a winding, creepy trail to reach the friendly wizard, who has snakes and lizards to meet. It’s a little “spooky” but there’s no big scares! There is a separate, very gentle, “pick a pumpkin” area (so you don’t need to pass through the trail if your kids are a bit timid about that sort of thing).

Stop press: On the 27th to 31st, check out the “Big Play Barn Ghouls’ Breakfast” available for early arrivers in The Big Play Barn before coming onto the farm or just as a spooky treat during a morning play session. You can choose this as part of a package that includes the breakfast, Big Play and then the farm + Spooktacular including a pumpkin to take home … click here to find out more.
Dates: We are opening the Halloween event on the weekend of the 18th/19th October with a special lower “opening weekend” price … JUST £1 SURCHARGE for adults and children on top of normal farm prices.
Tickets are sold as “Farm + event”, or , “COMBI (farm + play barn) + event”. As the events are within the farm, there is separate Halloween access without a farm or combi ticket. It is not included in a “just play” play barn ticket.
ALL normal farm activities are on too, so, for a Farm + event ticket, allow at least 2 hours and if you are choosing COMBI, allow at least 4 hours should you wish to make the most of your ticket.
Ticket prices can be seen on the booking calendar. You don’t need to book but we are a small site and we sometimes have to turn away on the door arrivals if we have reached capacity.
If you are in a Blue Light or Defence profession, please check out our Blue Light Portail for a discount on selected tickets … click here
THIS IS A NO-BRAINER … IT QUICKLY PAYS FOR ITSELF THEN SETS YOU UP FOR A BIG DISCOUNT FOR ALL OF THE SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS
For a one-off membership fee of £6 per person (children and adults), each person then gains a 50% discount on every standard COMBI Farm and Play Barn entry, saving £8.75 per child per visit and £7.25 per adult.
Please note, there may be occasional special offers that reduce the saving but you will save significantly on those days too.
This offer is to add grandparents to a booking which has at least one paying parent.
MOTHERS DAY EDIT: CLAIM A FREE MOTHER ENTRY INSTEAD. THIS COMING SUNDAY WE ARE ALLOWING UP TO 2 FREE ENTRIES INCLUDING A FREE MOTHER ENTRY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ONE PAYING ADULT STILL. YOUR FREE ENTRIES CAN BE MUM + GRANDMA, MUM + GRANDAD. OR, AS PER THE ORIGINAL OFFER, GRANDAD AND GRANDMA.
Note: tempting as it is to send nan and gramps while you have a child-free morning, this is to extend your family visit into a big extended family day out at no extra charge.
To claim this offer there are no hoops to jump through. Just book for all the paying visitors on our booking system and then just state “free grandparents” on the door. YOU MUST HAVE ONE PLAYING ADULT ON THE BOOKING, AND THEN YOU CAN ADD UP TO 2 FREE ADULTS … NOW EITHER MUM AND A GRANDPARENT, OR 2 GRANDPARENTS.
Please remember this is March Sundays only and for FARM tickets or COMBI tickets (the latter includes the play barn for an up-to-2-hour play session).
We offer a welcoming, farm-based experience (so a real animal Nativity) and a friendly team of staff borrowed from the North Pole. Your family will have one-to-one time with Santa during their visit which also includes all the usual farm activities as well.
Christmas on the Farm includes entry to our special event barn as well as access to the Nativity, and a chance to sing Little Donkey … to a real donkey! We have reindeer, too, who live on the farm year round, but love the special attention at Christmas.

For Christmas, there are several rooms to pass through (the reindeer “stables” and sleigh, and a winter wonderland). This takes you through to Santa’s cottage where you can wake him up and spend some exclusive time with him and Mrs Claus, and of course receive a gift. There’s time to have a little chat and a photo with the man himself. Our 18th century stables are home to our much loved Nativity where some children can take part and everyone gets to sing.
There is a surcharge for the event on top of normal farm entry, but we try to keep this reasonable to reflect the costs of putting on the event. Tickets are sold as “Farm + event”, or , “COMBI (Farm + Play Barn) + event”.
ALL normal farm activities are on too, so for a Farm + event ticket, allow at least 2 hours, and, if you are choosing COMBI, allow at least 4 hours should you wish to make the most of your ticket.
