We offer a welcoming, farm-based experience (so a real animal Nativity) and a friendly team of staff borrowed from the North Pole. Your family will have one-to-one time with Santa during their visit which also includes all the usual farm activities as well. Allow 2 hours to include the farm and the Christmas activities and approx 4 hours if you are getting a COMBI ticket that includes the play barn.
If you don’t know us too well, then here’s a guide to a visit and the different ticket types:
The FIRST thing to know is that on our booking calendar you book a start time (your entry time) and that things flow from there. Please treat all timings as advisory … we know that our visitors enjoy some flexibility and we also know that sometimes people arrive late; so, don’t worry, we are very relaxed and helpful! There’s not a fixed time to visit Santa, so don’t panic if you are running late. Our staff will guide you as to the best time once you are here.
The SECOND thing to know is that if you want to enjoy the play barn as an add-on to your farm visit, you book a ticket labelled COMBI. Our play barn is huge and we allow 2 hours to play (and eat from the cafe should you wish to). You can only visit the play barn once during your time with us, but you can re-enter the farm. So, some families will have a play break in the middle … but watch closing times on the farm as we do put the animals to bed early in the winter! On a standard COMBI, you’d visit the play barn after the farm (and Santa) but we also do a cheaper Play-First, see below!
So, the ticket types are …
PLAY FIRST COMBI, JUST FARM and PLAY AFTER COMBI (or standard COMBI).
The PLAY FIRST COMBI starts in the play barn and then you go onto the farm (it’s a cheaper COMBI ticket and starts relatively early in the day). JUST FARM is entry to the farm only (so no play barn); and finally, PLAY AFTER COMBI starts at the farm and then you can finish in the play barn or break your day with the play barn and revisit the farm after. The farm closes about 4pm but the play barn stays open until 6.30pm.
Can I visit the farm without seeing Santa? Yes you can! You’ll see some of the tickets at certain times that are “without the Christmas Event”. They are limited to specific calendar slots but remember if the time isn’t quite right, it’s fine to be a bit early or late. Our entry times just help us spread visitors it’s not a strict appointment time!
Activity times: all our activities like Sit on a Pony and Tractor Trailer Ride rotate through the day. Father Christmas is with us most of the day and the staff will guide you as to when best to go into the event barn/grotto. We can’t guarantee no queues but our staff work hard to minimise that.
