We are currently running a one way system around the farm with staggered entry to avoid bottlenecks and overcrowding.
Please book your entry slot from our Info page. We do not currently allow on the door admission without pre-payment and a booking.
Please read our restrictions and rules regarding the way we are operating during COVID.
While visiting the farm, we ask you to stick to our COVID safety rules. Although we seem to finally be coming out of the pandemic, restrictions do still apply at different levels depending on the current STEP; for the safety of our staff and customers we ask you to cooperate fully with the current rules.
If you have a new, continuous cough, high temperature or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste please do not visit.
Gatherings: we are mainly an outdoor venue and therefore outdoor rules apply depending on the STEP, see below. There may be different rules as you enter indoor areas which will be indicated at each entrance. If our staff do ask you to split into a smaller group at any time, please accept their request.
STEP 2: on re-opening on the 12th April, outdoor mixing is expected to be a maximum of 6 from multiple households, or, if just two households are meeting, the number can be higher (e.g. 2 families of 4 making 8 in total).
STEP 3: after the 17th May, these rules are relaxed and we hope to allow larger groups of friends to meet outdoors at the farm. When entering buildings, you may need to split up and wear a mask, as you would entering any indoor public space.
Bubbles: The only “bubble” that is permitted is where a single-adult household is in a support bubble with another single or multiple adult household. Other bubbles that apply to specific situations and locations do not apply to our venue (e.g. school bubbles or childcare bubbles).
Around the farm, when in our outdoor spaces, you are not required to wear your mask; however, in our undercover barns, and especially when interacting with our staff, please respect their safety and put your mask on. Children under 11 are not required to wear a mask.
You must wear a mask if you enter any of our indoor spaces, e.g. the shop. This is regardless of whether you have had a vaccine or not. We DO NOT accept declaration of exemption at the time of your visit so if you are medically exempt then please drop us a quick note once you’ve booked to let us know and we can add a note to your booking that you won’t be wearing a mask.
We always recommend plenty of hand washing when visiting our farm, for basic hygiene reasons. You should always wash your hands following any touching of animals or their enclosures, especially before eating. This is even more important now, to protect against the potential of transmitting COVID.
Please remember not to touch your face unnecessarily and use the sanitiser stations around the farm for additional cleaning. We recommend you also bring your own travel-sized sanitiser or wipes for occasional use if necessary … especially useful with young children. Please dispose of any wipes or tissues in the bins.
If at any time, during your visit, you feel unwell, please don’t hestiate to approach one of our members of staff who will assist you.
Please also tell us if you have any other concern relating to health and safety. We would rather address issues immediately than for you to return home unhappy about your visit.
